Coral spawning on the Great Barrier Reef is one of the most spectacular natural events in the world and we are lucky enough to capture it nearly every year. At the end of 2025 we worked with Citizens of the Reef and GBR Biology to capture underwater and topside content to be delivered to News houses and media around Australia and the world. These projects usually involve very quick, same day delivery and in this case the project was shot ad edited same day and sent out to the media. ABC Australia picked up the content and created this story with DR Jen Matthews but the footage was showed through different media outlets around Australia and the world.
